Last time we heard from DEEXCLSV, had dropped his Two Hours From G Park EP. Well, a lot has been going on for the boy ever since.

For one thing, man signed a major label deal with Universal Music South Africa (Universal). Side note: Is it me of is it like Universal is being like the Paris Saint-Germain of record labels? We might need a new batch of unsigned hype artists by December ???

But I digress.

DEEXCLSV decided to cap off this achievement with Hotel Room Flow – a song that sounds like it was made in the back of a jazz cafe. I had my head nodding as soon as the boom bappy drums dropped. The hazy, brass sounding sample could go well with some whisky on the rocks, no ice.

The good bars are a standard for DEEXCLSV, who has managed to shake off that own goal on The Hustle. Let him tell you more about it, though:

Hotel Room Flow is a celebration of how far I’ve come. A year ago, I was the topic of conversation for not having a verse on Vuzu Hustle. I’ve bounced back and shown what I’m capable of, now it’s time to take it all the way to the top. I made the song right after we signed the deal. Me and my Punchline team went out to the Forum Homini hotel in Krugersdorp and that’s how the song came about
